SOS European Cycling Tour

Everyone has the right to love!

On 30th of May at 12 o’clock two boys, that grew up in SOS Children homes in Bulgaria and Macedonia, started European cycling tour from Sofia to Imst, Austria. The goal of their cycling tour is to make the activity of SOS Children homes around the world more popular and to celebrate 25 years of the organization in Bulgaria. Their way will lead them through Macedonia, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia to Austria where in 1949 had been established the first SOS Children home.
The two heroes are Dani and Ljupco, who have met in 2005 during a football tournament, went on with many smiles and support from all that wanted to share the beginning of their march. On their way they will visit the Children homes in the different countries and inspire the kids, which are living there, to follow their steps.

Members of Factor Foundation also attended to the start of SOS European cycling tour to support the initiative, sharing the first kilometers of this wonderful adventure. The beginning of the trip went on some of the main arteries of Sofia and from the drivers on the road we received unexpected help with protecting the column by reducing the speed in the next driving lines.
Now, two weeks later, Dani and Ljupco are at the territory of Croatia, riding their bicycles without fear of the weather and a lot of smiles on their faces.
And we from Factor Foundation are following in details what is happening on their way.
Because we too, like SOS Children homes believe that every child has the right to have happy childhood!
